Aguada Beach in Goa - Aguada Beach Activities

Aguada Beach Activities - The Aguada Beach offers miles and miles of powdery golden sand, striking vista of blue marine waters and historical Aguada fort that tells mysterious tales of its past and splendid churches.

The Fort of Aguada was constructed by the Portuguese to control the invasion into River Mondovi and to protect old Goa from enemy attack. The enrichment skirts the seashore. At the center is a circular lighthouse tower. The Fort presently houses the central jail.

To arrive at Aguada Beach Goa, it is always better to arrange your own means of transport. You can either hire a taxi or a motorbike. Goa Aguada beach is located 4km from Sinquerim beach and few buses from Panaji can drop you somewhere close to Aguada beach.

Aguada Attraction - Besides the panoramic view of the fort and the exotic beach, there are also several other things in Aguada Beach that are worthy of interest. There are some magnificent churches that astonish the tourists with their tranquil and heavenly atmosphere.

The silence is only disturbed by the sudden call of an unknown bird amidst nature or the crashing sound of waves and sometimes by the noisy visitors. Reis Magos that overlooks the Reis Magos church is also worth visiting as this church, built in 1555, offers a mesmerizing view of the Mondovi River because of the big windows adorned by multi-hued.

Aguada beach has cafes, roaming vendors of everything from Kashmiri carpets to massages, and a good range of water sports.

Sea, sun sand and unlimited fun, the beachcombers can look forward to these and much more in the beaches in Goa. Goa has almost become synonymous with its beaches which have gained immense popularity among the tourists and the beach lovers alike. The warm, appealing, tropical Goa Beaches are the major draws for the tourists heading for Goa.

Tour of Goa Beaches - No other Indian beaches can match the popularity of the beaches in Goa. Besides their gorgeous beauty, the Goa beaches are also equipped with almost all the facilities. The most developed beach segment in Goa is the Calangute-Baga-Anjuna belt, north of Panaji. There is a cluster of forty spectacular beaches. Though all of them cannot be called swimmer-friendly beaches, yet that does not curb their charm. The north Goa beaches in Pernem subdivision have a primitive appeal. The unspoilt beauty of Keri, Arambol and Mandrem and Morji is what many a beach lover would trade the world for. If loneliness is what you are looking for, the Agonda Beach might just be the perfect place for you. The Colva Beach, to the north of Palolem is a captivating stretch of sand that sports a carnival atmosphere. For those who can't resist themselves from plunging headlong into water at the first sight of the sea, the Bogmolo Beach is the ideal choice. If the mention of water scooters and speedboats gives you that thrilling feel, then Dona Paula beach is the place to be. Goa-Travel.com is your indispensable e-travelogue as far as providing valuable inputs on the beaches in Goa is concerned.
